MJC statement on PreferredOne announcement

Earlier today, PreferredOne announced it was pulling out of MNsure, the Obamacare exchange in Minnesota. Read more on this development from KSTP.

Statement from Ben Golnik, Chairman of the Minnesota Jobs Coalition:

“Today’s decision by Preferred One to pull out of MNsure serves as another damning indictment of Mark Dayton’s ‘leadership.’ Mark Dayton and DFL legislators forced MNsure upon Minnesotans, even approving bonuses for MNsure executives. As MNsure was failing, Dayton insisted it was going ‘phenomenally well.’ Today Dayton is out of state, raising money with Washington DC lobbyists and insiders while MNSure continues to melt down. Minnesotans deserve better from Dayton and the DFL.”
