Broad Bipartisan Opposition to Dayton Pay Raises Grows
St. Paul- Minnesota Jobs Coalition President Mark Drake today issued the following statement regarding the Senate’s 63-2 vote to suspend Gov. Mark Dayton’s pay raises for agency commissioners.
“Yesterday, Mark Dayton claimed Republicans were trying to enact ‘revenge’ upon him by opposing his massive pay raises for agency commissioners. Today, the DFL controlled Senate voted 63-2 to suspend those same pay raises. Instead of digging in his heels and launching more personal attacks, it’s time for Dayton to finally admit he made a mistake and apologize to Minnesotans for his misjudgment.”
