Minnesota Jobs Coalition Statement on DFL Party Decision to Return Davis Contributions

Minnesota Jobs Coalition executive director John Rouleau issued the following statement in response to Chairman Ken Martin’s decision to redirect Bill Davis’ tainted contributions to the DFL Party.

“I appreciate Chair Martin for his response to the call from the Minnesota Jobs Coalition to return Bill Davis’ tainted contributions. It is disappointing that Gov. Mark Dayton and the numerous other Minnesota Democrats and committees that Davis contributed to have failed to respond in the same manner. Given this silence, the Minnesota Jobs Coalition again calls on Gov. Mark Dayton and other Democrats that received contributions to follow Chair Martin’s lead and contribute these funds to charities focused on low-income heating assistance.”
