Minnesota Jobs Coalition Announces Leadership Change

Saint Paul — Minnesota Jobs Coalition (MJC) announced today that Ben Golnik has stepped down as Chairman effective immediately.  “It’s been an honor to serve as Chairman of MJC as the group established itself as a new force in Minnesota.  MJC is in great hands with the new leadership team,” Golnik said.
Kevin Magnuson, MJC co-founder, will now serve as Chairman.  Long-time communications professional Mark Drake will serve as President and provide strategic leadership.  Tommy Merickel will serve as Chairman of the Development Committee, as MJC continues to grow its presence.  John Rouleau will continue his role as MJC Executive Director and direct day-to-day operations.
“While we’re sad to see Ben leave, MJC is well-positioned to expand its scope in Minnesota.  John Rouleau is a top-notch professional, and Mark Drake will oversee the strategic vision of MJC.  Tommy Merickel is very respected in the business community, and we’re excited to work with him in this new role,” said Magnuson.
Mark Drake added, “I am excited to get to work with MJC’s team.  We’ll continue our aggressive efforts to hold elected officials accountable in Minnesota, while also focusing on data and analytics and public education.”
